For my 16th month pictures with bears, the bears and I decided to hang around in the living room and show you all how I can color at my table and chairs.

I’m a big girl, so I can sit right on the chairs. But the bears are too short for the table so they have to be propped up with pillows!

I love to color! The bears weren’t so interested in it.

So I entertained myself with the cap. Cap on, cap off. Cap on, cap off.

That’s right folks!  I am walking!  It’s been a slow transition to the upright position for me.  I have been able to walk while attached to a fixed object like a table for some time and standing presented no real problem.

But I never understood the value of walking from one place to another when crawling is much more efficient, until recently.  Now that I have started walking, I just can’t stop!  I am pretty good at it too.  I’ve only had a couple major falls.

In this video you will also see my picture album that I use to remember all of your names and faces!  Hi Pappa T!

So as many of you already know, I have been taking pictures with my Teddy Bears every month since I was born. And I love those Teddies! But those Teddy Bears are in for a big surprise. There’s a new sheriff in town. ELMO!!!

I was nice enough to introduce the Bears to Elmo.

And then we all sat down and watched an Elmo DVD!!!

It’s a good thing that those Teddy Bears found Elmo as funny as I do!

I came back from vacation and my Mom and Dad decided that we should try and move from the bottle to the sippy cup.  I do love my bottles, but part of being a big girl (I am almost walking these days) is giving them and and drinking out of a big girl cup.

As it turns out, I actually really like being a big girl after all.  I didn’t miss a beat without my bottle.

On a separate note, I can’t wait until Zaza comes to visit next week!  I know she’s got some fun planned for us.  She always does!

Birthdays really must be the best of all the types of days there could be. Today was so much fun, can we do it all again tomorrow?

I was so excited for my birthday, I was smiling from the moment Mom and Dad came into my room this morning. I was ready to jump right out of my crib and get the festivities rolling.

My birthday was filled with two of my favorite colors (pink and green) and my favorite animals (pigs and frogs). My mom even made me pig and frog cupcakes.

I bet they taste as good as they look. But I don’t know what cake tastes like seeing as this is my first one, so take that with a grain of salt.

The day was full of presents. Ama and Pappa T sent me all these cool balloons. I LOVE balloons, and birthdays are full of them!

Mom and Dad got me very cool presents. I got a sand and water table that I love to splash in.

And I also got this Cozy Coup!

My party was sooo much fun! My friends Kaitlyn and Hannah came over for a pool party. We played and splashed all afternoon long. Kaitlyn and I had almost matching bathing suits.

Here’s Hannah. Last time I saw her, she couldn’t walk yet. But now she can, so I asked her for some pointers. It looks like tons of fun.

My favorite part of the whole day was when everyone sang Happy Birthday to me and I finally got to dig into those cupcakes! I think I ate the whole thing in three bites.

Here are a couple of videos from the day for you all to enjoy!

I love to dance when people sing to me!

I told you I ate that cupcake in like three whole bites!

What a wonderful birthday it was.  I am already anxiously awaiting next year’s birthday.  I can’t believe it’s a whole year away!

Thanks Mom and Dad, for a great birthday party and being the best parents a one-year old could ask for!
