Every year, we have a carnival block party on Summit Rd. Last year, I was too little to properly enjoy it. But this year…it’s a whole different story!

I did some swinging on the swings…

And some playing in the mini-bouncy house!

We had a picnic and I got to eat all sorts of good snacks with Ellie who lives across the street.

But my favorite part was the hayrides!

That’s Scott, Kaitlyn and Colby’s dad, in the funny hat driving the tractor. I even got inspired to try and find my own tractor to take out for a spin.

What a fun day! I can’t wait until next years Carnival Party!
We went to a party this weekend at our friends Kaitlyn and Colby’s house. They had a bouncy house! It was sooo much fun! At first I wasn’t quite sure about it. But by the time I got in…I was thrilled!

Of course, I couldn’t go in alone. I’m not too good at walking on normal ground yet, let alone the moving bouncy house ground. Dad was nice enough to crawl on in with me.

Thanks for inviting us over for the party Kaitlyn and Colby!!!
My friend Hannah came over for lunch and some playtime yesterday. It was so much fun. She even convinced my Mom and Dad that I should try some American Cheese, yummy!!!

Hannah is one year old this week.

Happy Birthday Hannah! We got her a pair of Crocs like mine (except purple). I think I want a purple pair too!
Well, the new year brings new things already. We had a holiday party and a whole bunch of my friends came; Nolan, Kaitlyn, Abbey, and Hannah! It was so much fun. Hannah and Abbey are both a few months older than me. But they could crawl. It looked like so much fun, I just keep trying. But I can still only scoot. The good news is I can scoot all the way in a circle, which makes playing with toys much more fun.
Here are some picture of me and my friends at the party.

Thats Abbey and I playing with my toys. Toys really are more fun when there are more people to play with them with you.

Kaitlyn was there too. I get to go to her house alot, so it was nice to have her come over to my house and play.
It was so much fun playing with all the kids, I had to put myself to sleep before they all left. I hope I am not a party pooper!
I can do alot more things this year than I did last year. I can sit up for extended amounts of time, all on my own. This makes it much easier to play with my toys!

The only bad thing about 2007, is it seems to be the year of the tooth. I have so many teeth in my mouth. I really don’t see the point of them yet. But they are fun to clack together and you can see them when I smile.

My mom hates when I grind them though. It does make a pretty icky sound. But I like to do it anyway!
Now that my fingers work so well and I can pick up smaller things, I get to have some Gerber Puffs while I wait for my cereal and vegetables to be made. I really like the Gerber Puffs.

They taste pretty good too! My teeth crunch them up pretty good.

So I guess that’s one good thing about having teeth.
Here is a video of me eating Puffs for the first time!
One of my favorite storyblogs about a Westhighland Terrier Noggin and his friend Izzy was nice enough to write a story about Bailey, Fenwaw and me. How exciting. You can read the story and others by my friend Barbara here. Here is a little bit about Noggin and Izzy:

“Noggin is a dog, who is almost two years old, and who is Scottish because he is a West Highland Terrier and they are from Scotland, but he lives in England with his mummy, who talks funny because she is American, and his daddy, who is English. Theirs is a very international family.
Izzy is a girl and her real name is Isabel, and she is eight years old, and she lives with her mummy, daddy and brother Owen, who doesn’t like dogs very much. Izzy’s parents are good friends with Noggin’s parents, so that’s how they met. And they became very best friends, and decided they would have many spectacular adventures. So that is where these stories will begin.”
Noggin & Izzy Meet The Amazing Ryan and Her Babysitters, Bailey & Fenway
Sometimes, if you look closely, you find the most amazing things in the woods. That’s one of the reasons Noggin loves to play in the woods. In fact, it’s probably his favorite place of all to play. Especially at this time of year, when there are big piles of leaves to kick through, and squishy mud to splash in. So when Izzy said “Let’s go to the woods today,” Noggin was out the door before she even finished the sentence.
It was a very cold day, so Noggin was wearing his red and white jumper, and Izzy had her warm coat and hat and scarf and mittens on. As usual, when they got to the woods, Noggin ran ahead to explore a bit, racing around and smelling all the lovely woodsy smells. He hadn’t run far when he suddenly stopped because he thought he saw himself coming the other way! Of course, that’s not possible, he told himself. Maybe someone left a mirror in the woods.
But it wasn’t a mirror, it was another West Highland Terrier, who looked exactly like Noggin, except that he wasn’t wearing a red and white jumper, but he didn’t stop or even seem to see Noggin, he just ran right past him.
“Wait,” called Noggin, “come back and play.” But the other Westie just kept running. Then another dog, a brown one, rushed by in the same direction, almost knocking Noggin over. “Sorry,” he yelled back over his shoulder as he ran. “Runaway baby! No time to lose!”
Just then, Izzy caught up with Noggin. “Did he say baby?” she asked.
“That’s what it sounded like,” said Noggin. “Maybe we should follow them.” So they ran after the two dogs, and soon found them. But they weren’t alone. Sitting between them, in the middle of a squishy mud puddle, was a very little girl, just a baby, really. And she was laughing and splashing the mud all over the two dogs, who were still panting from all the running.
“Hello,” said Noggin. “Who do we have here?”
“Hello,” said the other Westie. “Sorry about that back there. My name is Bailey, and this is Fenway, and we were supposed to be babysitting little Ryan here. But you know how it is, you get distracted by a good smell, and one minute she was there and the next she was gone. She can’t even walk yet, but she can crawl faster than you can imagine!
“We’d be in big trouble if we lost her,” said Fenway. “Our parents really like her.”
Izzy, who knows that babies are not usually allowed to play in the mud, asked, “Won’t you be in big trouble when they find her covered in mud?”
“Oh no, I hadn’t thought of that,” said Bailey. “Will you help us clean her up?”
So Izzy took off her scarf and used it as a towel to wipe off all the mud. “Her jumper is too dirty,” said Izzy. “It’ll have to go. But what will she wear?”
“I have an idea,” said Noggin.
Later, after Bailey and Fenway had said goodbye and carried Ryan home safe and sound (with only a few bits of mud still in her hair), Ryan’s mummy gave them both treats for taking such good care of her. “The only question I have,” she said, “is where this red and white jumper came from?”
Bailey and Fenway just smiled.

Here is a picture of me wearing Noggin’s red and white jumper.
Thanks Barbara! You’ve made my day!!!
