We were so happy that Ama’s surgery was successful (for more about Ama’s Amazing Journey visit her blog) that we just had to get down to Connecticut as soon as possible to help her celebrate.   The best part of it was everyone else was there too!

Not only did I get to see Ama and Pappa T and Zaza (thank you for your wonderful hospitality), but Momo and Great Muvie where there as well.  On top of that, we got to meet all sorts of new friends.  A few of Dad’s friends from growing up just had babies.  And while I like Dad’s friends, the babies are a little more fun!

First we got to meet Luke!  Luke is Tania’s son and he is 2 1/2 months old.

He was very cute and his hair stuck up just like mine did when I was his age!  Tania and Dad have known each other since they were Luke’s age!  I hope that I know Luke that long too.

We had dinner with Dad’s friends Trey and Elisa and their beautiful daughter Claire who was 1 1/2 months old.  Here’s a picture of Momo holding Claire.

And of course we had to get a picture of Momo holding me too.  I can be very jealous if I don’t get my attention too!

We did all sorts of fun things in CT.  We went to breakfast at Dad’s favorite breakfast place.  Everyone kept calling it Phillips, but the sign said Dottie’s Diner.

I guess I am not old enough to understand that one.  The best part of the breakfast was the donuts!  From what I hear, Phillips’ donuts are the best in the world.  I like the chocolate ones!

Yummy!!!

After a good brunch, we went to the coolest toy store I’ve ever been too, Geppetto’s.  I wanted everything!

We spent the rest of the day at Ama and Pappa T’s house.  It was sooo much fun to see everyone!

Great Muvie, Momo, and I…

Pappa T!

And of course Ama T!

(sorry Zaza, we didn’t get a picture together…we’ll have to rectify that when you come to visit for Thanksgiving!).

Thanks to everyone for a wonderful trip!  I can’t wait to see you all again.

Ama and Pappa T came to visit me at my house.  I was very happy to see Ama before her surgery!  She makes me smile.  Hopefully I made her feel a little better as well.

Thanks for a quick but fun visit!
