Lions and Pumpkins and Peapods…oh my!
I need a little help from you all today. I can’t decide which costume to wear tonight and the clock is ticking down to trick or treat time.
Take a look at the options and let me know which one you like the best in the comments.

I could be a pumpkin!

or….ROAR!!! I could be a lion…

or I could be a “sweat pea” (pod).
Let me know which costume you think I should wear tonight!
I am so excited. I have sooo many new friends (and all of them are girls!). I have two new friends on either side of my house. Caroline was born two weeks ago and lives next door with her two older sisters Mary Francis and Emma and her brother Alex. Her dad, Wally, is on TV every now and then (I love TV!).
Shaelin lives in the house on the other side of me. She was just born this past Wednesday. Since I am the oldest of the three, I guess that leaves me with alot of responsibility!

Here is a picture of my friend Ella. She lives in Massachusetts and we drove down to play with her on Sunday. She was just born last week too!
Well…I am off to playgroup! All this talk of friends has got me in the mood for some playing!
Gotcha! I bet you thought we would have pictures of me in my Halloween costume. But that will have to wait until after the big day! No peeking…much like gowns on the red carpet at the Oscar’s, my look has to be original and kept secret under lock and key!
But I do have plenty of other pictures from this month to keep you occupied until the unveiling!

This month was filled with excitement. I started eating cereal, rolling over on my belly, and now have two bottom teeth! I went on a trip to CT and got to ride a carousel horse (in a house!). Then I had my first trip to New York City and went to the biggest toy store I have ever seen.

We took trips to a pumpkin patch and I started using all sorts of fun new toys like my exer-saucer.

It’s starting to get cold out, but for a girl like me that only means one thing! ACCESSORIES!!! I have hats and mittens and scarves! This winter thing sounds pretty cool to me (pardon the pun).

As always, I’ve uploaded a bunch of pictures so that you can see all the fun stuff that I have been up to. Just go to: http://picasaweb.google.com/tdaloisio/TheBestOfRyanOctober2006
and don’t be shy….feel free to leave some comments for me on the picture pages (I think you have to sign up for a Picasa Web Albums account to see or make comments) or in the comments section on this post (at the bottom of the page)!
Well, I am off for now…but I promise to send along Halloween pictures next week!
Happy Trick or Treating…
Thought you guys might enjoy a few pictures of me eating my Rice Cereal….its not too bad…I get to eat a bowl before I go to bed…and I am getting pretty good at it!

What’s this? A new toy? I like to put things in my mouth!

I actually get to eat this stuff…and wear it too!

My first meal…rice cereal…YUM!!

I just can’t get enough.

Does food come out of this end of the spoon too?
You all must think that I dropped off the face of the earth. To be honest I blame my father. The old computer wasn’t quite up to snuff and I finally convinced him to buy me an iMac so I could send out my pictures more often!! So much has gone on since my last email to you all, I don’t even know where to begin. I have attached some photos for you all to see, and am also uploading them and others to a public website for all to share at http://picasaweb.google.com/tdaloisio.
On that page you will find albums with my (or my parents) favorite pictures of me by month. You will also find an album with a few pictures that my parents take each month with me and my two teddy bears so you can see how big I am getting. I did go to the doctor yesterday and got weighed in at 14 lbs, 13 oz and measured 25 1/2 inches long. That put me at 85% percentile height and 75% weight for 4 month old girls. After getting weighed and laughing at the doctor as he checked me out, these nasty nurses sneak-attacked me with needles and gave me shots. I’ll be keeping an eye out for them in the future. But I digress.

Growing up is alot of fun! Instead of just laying around being cute, I get to do so many more things! I just love to talk and giggle. I also love my new toys, like my Jump-a-Roo and my Exer-Saucer. They let me stand up and play with things!!
I finally got a good sleep routine and am always so cheerful and well rested (at least almost always). I take 2 or 3 two hour naps during the day and go to bed around 7 pm and then wake up once during the night to feed (sometimes twice) and get up in the morning at 7 am. I am even sleeping like a big girl in my crib in my own room!!!
I am still eating/drinking alot of my yummy milk. But just recently started tasting a little rice cereal before bed. I don’t really know how to eat yet, so most of it just runs off my chin and then I have to get changed again!! Its pretty funny!
I have had soo many visitors. Which I love! And can’t wait to see some of you this weekend in CT!
Now that I have my new computer, I will be sure to email everyone with updates much more often. I can’t wait to hear back from you all. Please send emails and make comments in my photo albums if you want to comment about a specific photo!
